Welcome to the Shiftly community–where students and businesses work together, respectfully and reliably.
We built Shiftly so students like you can find flexible work opportunities that fit your schedule, help you make a quick buck, and find out about new businesss. These guidelines are here to make sure every shift runs smoothly and everyone is treated with fairness and respect.
You're stepping into someone else's business, so be polite, professional, and kind. Greet staff, ask questions when needed, and respect the pace of the business.
Your time matters, and so does theirs. Be on time, stay focused, and do your best while on shift. Every shift is a chance to build your reputation in the app.
Running late or can't make it? Let us and the business know as soon as possible. Ghosting hurts everyone. We understand life happens, but keeping others informed is key.
Learning happens on the job. If a business shares feedback, take it seriously and see it as an opportunity to change and grow. You can rate them too and we encourage honest, fair reviews.
Remember: You're representing Shiftly, your school, and yourself. Respect the opportunity, and great things will follow.
Shiftly exists to help you find reliable on demand student support. We ask that all business partners treat student workers with the same respect and clarity you'd expect in return.
Before each shift, make sure your expectations are clearly communicated through the training video and direct mail feature. What tasks are involved? Who should the student report to? A little clarity goes a long way.
Every Shiftly student deserves to work in a safe, respectful setting. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
After each shift, rate students fairly. Constructive feedback helps them improve and helps Shiftly grow stronger. And don't forget that you will be rated too.
Remember: The best results come from mutual respect. When students feel supported, they perform better–and are more likely to return.
